Allocation on “addressing the consequences of the invasion in Ukraine”

Modified on Wed, 26 Mar at 4:58 PM

What is the scope of the Ukraine allocation and what proof will the Fund Operator have to submit for the Fund Specific related to Ukraine?

In response to challenges arising from the invasion of Ukraine, funds may be used to support projects that address a wide spectrum of needs identified in the Beneficiary States related to these challenges. These needs may be direct (e.g. support for refugees including Ukrainian human rights defenders) or indirect (measures to protect information integrity, advocacy on security policy). These needs must be relevant to the objectives of the EEA Civil Society Fund.
The Ukraine allocation is new, and the plans for its implementation are still under development. Guidance for reporting on the Ukraine allocation will be provided to the selected Fund Operator during programme development. Please explain in your bid your ambition for addressing the Fund Specific through open calls and/or pre-defined projects.
