What is the reason for having a consortium, and is there any good practice to share for how to split tasks between consortium members?

The reason for having a consortium is to bring together the complementary strengths, expertise, and resources of multiple organizations to ensure effective implementation of the fund. A consortium allows for leveraging diverse capacities, such as thematic knowledge, geographical reach, or administrative skills, to address the complex needs of civil society in a holistic and efficient manner.

In terms of splitting tasks among consortium members, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. In the past, various models have been used, each with its own benefits and challenges. The division of tasks typically depends on the unique qualities and expertise of each consortium member and the consortium as a whole.
